What would you do if you accidentally broke a law, and someone began to argue with you OOC?:
I would accept the fact that i have broken a law within RP, not starting an argument OOCly over an ICly matter, and await punishment ICly
If someone was insulting you OOC for not following a common law (such as reading their rights) what would you do/say?:
I would not escalate the argument OOCly over an ICly matter, and expect punishment ICly according to the situation, or if within possibility i would follow said common law if i do have the possibility after the remark
What do you do if you arrest someone? Be short, but detailed:
I would attempt to de-escalate the situation using minimal force. Then, once i have arrested someone for probable cause and used handcuffs i would proceed to read the persons rights before heading towards the police station. There the individuals record would be taken (photograph of the individuals face, his name etc.). Following that, the individual would be transported to an available jail cell. (And officer should be made aware of the arrest)
If someone is behaving strangely, as if they were using illegal substances, what do you do?:
I would aproach the individual in an attempt to engage into a conversation with him in order to properly assess within my own opinion based on simple observation whether he might be intoxicated or not. Drug testing analysis could be performed on the individual after which the suspected person could be arrested for either public intoxication or drug possession
If someone will not give you their identity and you don’t have probable cause, what do you do?:
In most states if a police officer does not have probable cause that suspects and individual of their involment in an illegal activity then the individual has the right to refuse to hand their ID or to identify themselfs in any way, yet if with resonable suspicion such as an dubious behaviour, the police officer may stop the individual for questioning but again, the person is allowed to refuse to identify himself
If someone refuses to identify themselves because of the 5th amendment, but you have probable cause, what do you do?:
Because of the access to probable cause the individual can be detained, following a proper arrest protocol

Ben had started his life as the only son to a detective and a school nurse, in Aurora Colorado, a couple with a steady income and a plain life. Before he had reached the age of 6 he had already made 2 bestfriends, Jack and Steven. His childhood had been as ordinary as one is. One of Bens hobbies, which he might've picked up from the influence his dad had on Ben and from his career as a detective, was to figure out solutions to puzzels, or to pretend he was solving a mystery case, getting both his friends to play along. A hobbie which, as it'll turn out, will have an effect over some of his life choices. During each summer, his parents and him would visit the ocean, those memories of the feeling of hot sand on his feet and the sounds of the waves crashing into the water had formed, in his mind, the image of the beach as a pleasing figure bringing in a relaxing thought, which will be serving him as that for as long as he will remember. Ofcourse he also has some unplesant things which he associates to as distressing, such as mountains, mainly because of his experience of him almost falling to his impending doom while hiking onto one with his parents, before swiftly being grabbed by the guide as he jumped in to grab Ben's shirt's hood, aswell as a strange one, these being scooters. When he was 8 he used to go to a nearby skatepark with his scooter going off of small ramps and just riding in circles around the territory. In one unfortunate day while staring at a comercial plane which was flying at a height of about 3000 feet off the ground, one of the boys there riding his skateboard had fallen off of it in such a manner that the skateboard had been sent forward with enough force to send the skateboard flying into a ramp, then once it flew in the air for as long as 3 seconds it went right into the platform of Ben's scooter which had spun right into Ben's shin, slightly fracturing the bone, yet in his 8 year old mine, it felt as if it was trempled by an elephant. From that day he compleatly avoiding riding on a scooter ever again. Thoughout school life he didnt have extreme difficulties completing the tasks he encountered at each subject. Starting elemntary school he enjoyed mostly math as it became an easy concept for him to grasp. It didnt take long for him to excel in concepts such as multiplication or division. He was somewhat intrigued by science. It seemed Ben was curious about the way different phenomons in nature get to accure and how and why everything happens. Yet his least favourite subject was english, not because it was difficult, but because it was as boring as watching paint dry. He was not a fan of reading books as he found them tedious to go through without giving up or falling asleep because of how boring they got. In middle school he started to learn more in-depthly about other topics, like geometry, a subject which he could very easily acomplish, equations, fractions and other. In science, it eventually got devided into different subjects such as biology, he didnt enjoy it very much at the beggining, as he which he found out, he had to try and actually learn and remember different notions and processes yet once he understood them he went through it without a sweat. Chemestry, also difficult at first but it all started to connect once he understood what each topic was about and how different reactions occured. And finally physics, which at first one might think that Ben would enjoy it greatly, yet they could not be further from the truth. For Ben physics did not bring anything but disgust, mainly because of his unproffesional teacher Mr. Jenkins. He was the type of teacher to never properly explain a topic in such a way that any of the students would understand it easily, either that or he wouldnt explain it all and just let the students study it by themselfs, then expect them to ace any of his test using solutions he wanted. This ofcourse pissed Ben off, yet he couldnt really do anything about it since, at the time the school in his town had a shortage of teachers, especially physics teachers, thats why, even with complains, its not like they were able to just get rid of him. With some effort, he did manage to go through his lessons unscaved. Although his other teachers, such as Mrs Smith, biology teacher or Mrs White, his chemesty teacher were at times hard to follow, because of his initial love of the subjects he managed to excel at them. The summer before he passed into highschool was a totally unexpected one tho mainly because his family decided to travel and live in another state because of his dads better career oportunity. Although he was in the circumstances where he wouldnt be able to see his 2 bestfriends anymore, on the bright side, the city they were moving to was Savannah Georgia, which he was somewhat excited for as it was an only 20 minutes ride away from Tybee island which had access to the sea along with beaches. There he advanced with his studies in highschool. Although new city ment new people which ment new teachers and new classmates, and highschool ment new more complicated topics, that didnt stop him from getting accomodated fast. He wasnt popular at school yet he was cool with everybody there. The teachers didnt act unplesant for him, on the contrary he saw them as better once than his previous teachers, especially Mr Gallagher his math teacher, which he thought it was essential to establish a good view of eachother as the topics following highschool math were a bit more complicated than in the previours years especially subjects like trigonometry or derivation. Overall he had good grades at math, like Bs and As and at the other subjects he had did avragely, getting Cs and Bs. His social life improved since he arrived into the city, having multiple friends which he met both at school and at the beach. Yet his one bestfriends was Jim, his classsmate that had the same common interests as Ben, math and the beach. They would both often, with either Ben's or Jim's parents go to the beach together where they would enjoy their time by either racing eachother in swimming, playing beach volleyball, or even attempt at grasping a new hobby, surfing. They have even both joined their school's volleyball team often participating in important sports competition between schools. His school life really set him on a good path on life, as once he finished it he had found himself a boring, yet well paid office job, becoming the COO of the company he works for, aswell as occasional doing some math tutoring, and ofcourse he still upkept his sport life at the beach, with Jim, which had became the founder of his own company, playing volleyball and still practicing surfing from time to time. Yet, although it was nice life he had achieved, he still had this feeling of unexcitment and repetitiveness lingering with him everyday since he claimed his position in the office. Searching for an answer he stumbled upon news of a small town which also bordered the ocean, that seemed to be at the margin of a forrest. People have discribed the town as somewhat strange with sightings of unknown figures lingering in the woods. Wanting to experience the feeling of longing for what might happen tomorrow, and to feel in a more rustical and excluded from the cities enviorment he rode all the way, through the woods before finally ariving through what the sign refered to as Shady Pines into East Fall, a small town where he acquired himself a small apartment along as, to support himself financially, and because of the hobbies and his dad career of detective work that influenced him in his childhood, he decided to attempt at joining the police force of this town.
