The darkness is coming to light..

Within my time in East Falls, I have been exposed to a multitude of strange and intriguing viewpoints of the city. I have seen the beauty of the state, as a foreigner coming from Japan, I have been partial to beautiful sights here and there, the mountains of my hometown fell short I must admit when it comes to the greenery and landscape this city has. Though, I must say, the dark and ugly creature that lurks in this town has reared its ugly head to me as of recently, taking the form of the criminals that seem to frolic on the streets of this tragically beautiful place..

A magician tells their secret…

Late last night, I fell victim to a kidnapping. I was within the main street of the town and had found myself being attacked, every part of my body froze as I was swept up by a large masked individual and taken. I was blindfolded and gagged on the way, I tried to fight and yet my efforts were to no avail. I was unable to fight back, I was too afraid too, both for the sake of my safety and my unborn child.

Upon being unblindfolded and ungagged, I was sat face to face with a looming masked figure, it seemed they had company as I heard shouting from outside of the room I was in, I was unsure of whether or not I would leave the place alive, but strangely, I was assured by the assailant that she meant both me and my unborn child no harm. Instead, she demanded with a crowbar to the side of my head, I made this very report to warn the people of her presence in the city.

The ‘Punisher’ of Wyoming..

When faced with this life or death situation, I sat and asked myself one question internally. Will I ever see my husband and son again? I felt my blood run cold as the individual revealed their name but never her face, our conversation began, and the timer on my life seemed to continue to tick…

F: “You’re a reporter, yes? Then I want you to tell this f*cking city what I am here to do, and that I will not stop.”

T: “What is it you want with me?”

F: “Your reputation to rocket as a reporter. An interview with a known serial killer? Now wouldn’t that send you through the rankings?”

T: “This isn’t right, you can’t do this…I can’t do this.”

F: “You wish to be with your husband and son again, yes? Then write what I say, and I’ll let you live, Little Reporter.”

The conversations we had left a chill down my spine, every hair on edge, and a twisted feeling of fear and utter unease at the calmness my brain had fooled my body into. She went on to tell me who and what was the reason for her fall from grace.

F: “I was once a Marine, served for many years and was relieved off of duty due to personal issues.. My family, when I returned home to New York, were gone, I returned to an empty home and bloodstains like paintings on the damn walls. I knew what had happened to them, they had been hunted by the very men I had put down at war. They went to the police for help and yet, were met with nothing but turned backs and silence. They were failed by the f*cking justice system, and I couldn’t let that sh*t slide.”

She had been pacing by this point, her sighing as she turned and gestured for me to continue writing.

F: “These people, the ones that put me down, the people that I killed. I want you and this city to know I’d do it all again. This entire town is a circus, it’s a charade, it's an act, it’s bullshit about how crazy I am. I’m not f*cking crazy. I’m not crazy, okay? I know what I did, I know who I am, and I do not need your help. I’m smack dab in the middle of my right god-damn mind, and any scumbag, any low-life, any maggot piece-of-sh*t I put down? I did it, because I like it! Hell, I loved it! I’m itching to do it again and they think they can send me to a nuthouse? Get a doctor to stop me from doing what I want to do? F*CK NO!”

This woman was nothing short of one of the fiercest and most terrifying women I had the displeasure of knowing and yet, she’s opened my eyes to the fact that the EFPD have shown their lack of care for their citizens. It makes me question as not only a citizen, a mother, a wife, and a reporter that if the police cannot keep such a killer at bay, then what shot do we the people have at defending ourselves or even sleep at night?

At the end of our conversation, I was told by the Punisher that I was to give the people a message.

“I am coming for all the people that have caused me wrong. I will not stop until every single, god-damn one of them is in the ground.”

I publish this with a want for people to be cautious and for the police to finally do what they swore to do when they went under oath.
