Town Hall Application/Faction Rules & Information

Below is a list of the rules for when applying for Town Hall rules for when being a member of the faction, and information about the application and faction

Application Rules:

  • 1: Please bold all the questions (aka the format questions) and unbold your answers
  • 2: You are welcome to change the color of the text to fit a better aesthetic. However, too many changes may result in denial. Try to stick to the main colors (black and white)
  • 3: Use proper grammar and spelling when filling out your answers
  • 4: The IC section should be answered as if your character is in an interview and being asked these questions.
  • 5: When uploading a new application, make the title of your application is in the order of your account IGN, and then the role you are applying for (ex. EnderBubs Lawyer Application)
  • 6: You cannot apply for Town Hall and another faction at the same time or on the same account. You must choose ONE
  • 7: Plagiarism, using someone else's information/writing in your application, or using ANY sort of AI to write your application will result in a blacklist from the faction.
  • 8: You are expected and required to have read through the Town Hall Application Rules and Information Forum post

Faction Rules:

  • 1: All Player Rules apply. You MUST follow them at all times
    • Failure to follow this rule may result in things like strikes, demotions, removal, or even a blacklist. And of course OOC Warnings and Bans
  •  2: If you are banned for any duration of time and for any reason, you will be removed from the faction
    • You will have to reapply for the faction if removed. However, you can only reapply once you have been unbanned for a minimum of 3 weeks
  • 3: All Townhall members cannot use AI under any circumstance
    •  If caught doing this you will be removed instantly and blacklisted from applying for the faction
  • 4: All Townhall members cannot GangRP or CrimeRP on their Town Hall account. They will have to use an alt Minecraft account or character slot if they wish to CrimeRP while being in Town Hall
    • All town hall members cannot GangRP no matter what. Even if you have an alt Minecraft account or extra character slot you cannot join a Gang. This is to prevent potential unfair biases in court trials or situations. However, you CAN CrimeRP on an alt Minecraft account or character slot. Just not your town hall account/character slot
    • Failure to follow this rule may result in things like strikes, demotions, removal, or even a blacklist. If caught being a part of a Gang while in Town Hall you will instantly be removed unless you are a Higher-UP. If you are a Higher-UP you will be asked to choose to either stay in the gang and be removed, or leave the gang and stay in Town Hall and be demoted.
  • 5: All Townhall members cannot be corrupt unless you have a well-developed reason to WHY your character would be corrupt, and a proper and valid reason to why your character would go against their own job. Alongside you need the Mayor's permission
    • Failure to follow this rule will result in removal from the faction instantly, alongside being blacklisted from the faction as you can no longer be trusted. As well as if the government finds out about your corruption ICLY, you will be charged and arrested.
  • 6: All Townhall members and normal players cannot spam ping/spam DM Higher-UPs or chats
    • Failure to follow this rule may result in things like strikes, demotions, removal, or even a blacklist
  • 7: All Townhall members must log an inactivity log if they are unable to log onto the Minecraft server or be on Discord for more than 3 days
    • Failure to follow this rule may result in things like strikes, demotions, removal, or even a blacklist
  • 8: All Townhall members cannot reuse a character if they were previously fired from town hall ICLY
    • Failure to follow this rule may result in things like strikes, demotions, removal, or even a blacklist
  • 9: Your character is limited to being between the age of 25-80
  • 10: You can apply for the following positions: JUDGE | LAWYER
    • Please review the government information channel in the Town Hall Server to gather information on what both lawyers and judges do for the town hall

Working for town hall is a privilege, not a right. You can be removed, demoted, striked, or blacklisted at any time if rules are broken.

Faction Quota and Payment:

Payment is based on a quota system, and depending on how many quota points you make at the end of the month will determine how much you get paid ICLY. Quota points are earned via doing certain tasks that relate to your job, this list is not public but if accepted you will have access to see what tasks can earn you how many quota points. Below is a list of how many points a town hall member will need to earn to earn their paycheck:

  • 0-4 Quota Points = 0 Paycheck and potential interactivity strike
  • 5-9 Quota Points = $1,200 Paycheck
  • 10-14 Quota Points = $2,400 Paycheck
  • 15-19 Quota Points = 3,600 Paycheck
  • 20-24 Quota Points = $4,800 Paycheck
  • 25-30 Quota Points = $6,000 Paycheck

The max quota points a player can be paid for is 30. If a player goes over 30 they will not be paid for the additional points they earn. As well as, depending on how active the server is sometimes quota points can be earned via time on the server throughout the month compared to tasks. Below is a list of how much time = quota points

  • 1-4 total hours online for the 1st week of the month = 0 quota points
  • 5-9 total hours online for the 1st week of the month = 5.5 quota points
  • 10-14 total hours online for the 2nd week of the month = 5.5 quota points
  • 15-19 total hours online for the 3rd week of the month: = 5.5 quota points
  • 20-25 total hours online for the 4th week of the month: = 5.5 quota points

However, depending on your position in town hall you do have the opportunity to earn more money. As you rank up in town hall, your limit for how much you can get paid increases. Below is that list:

  • Town Hall Higher-UP = can earn and get paid up to a maximum of 35 quota points compared to the normal 30. This means they can make an extra $1,200 dollars towards their paycheck at the end of the month
  • Deputy Mayor = can earn and get paid up to a maximum of 40 quota points compared to the normal 30. This means they can make an extra $2,400 dollars towards their paycheck at the end of the month
  • Mayor = can earn and get paid up to a maximum of 45 quota points compared to the normal 30. This means they can get paid an extra $3,600 dollars towards their paycheck at the end of the month

Each town hall member will receive their paycheck at the end of the month or the first day of the new month. Sometimes longer if issues happen, however, if these issues do pop up the Mayor will inform town hall members that there will be a delayed paycheck

Application Information:

Because of the high crime rate that East Falls has, the government is VERY thorough in ensuring that no criminals work for town hall. By applying for town hall and submitting an application via the forums, you go through this process ICLY (The process itself is SkipRP/F2Bed, but you can say you did all of this ICLY)

  • 1: Your character ICLY submits an physical application to the government job you are applying to work for
  • 2: Then ICLY, your character will meet with one of the Higher-UPs of the Town Hall who will interview your character (this interview doesn't happen ICLY, however the IC section in the application where you are asked questions is considered the interview process. Consider the interview SkipRPed) where during this time you will show the government official your characters Birth Certificate to confirm your characters name and age. Your character will also be fingerprinted and registered into a government database
  • 3: After the interview (aka when the player is waiting for the application to be accepted or denied) the government checks your character IC record by checking with PD to confirm your character doesn't have any felonies or charges on your character record, and if they do what charges. They also check if your character has been detained before as a way to double-check to ensure they may not be hiring someone who has a chance to become a criminal or is a criminal
  • 4: Finally, the lead of the faction will respond to your application depending on their own opinions and if they feel your character would be a good match

OOCLY NOTE: This means that when you apply for a job at town hall, you cannot lie about your character's IC information. This IS an OOCLY rule and if you break this rule your application will be denied.

Want to learn more about what the East Falls Government has to offer? Come over to the discord and check it out!

We have a channel dedicated to explaining things about the government in the Town Hall Discord. The channel is called #Government Information. Feel free to explore it.

If you have any questions about the application or the faction overall, don't be afraid to hop into the discord and ask in #questions or DM the Mayor! (EnderBubs). Thank you for your time and we hope to see you soon!
