OOC:
Shortly describe 5 laws or behaviors that officers in the U.S. have to follow:
Some behaviors or laws that officers within the US Must follow is such as the following such as the amendments of the fifth, and fourth amendments. The fourth protecting against search and seizures. The fifth making the arresting officer required to say here rights (Miranda Rights.). Some others would be Usage of force on when to de-escalate situations and proportionality which just means force must be within reason to use. Lastly officers must conduct themself in a professional manor while on-duty and off-duty, especially if they see a fellow officer engage into unlawful behavior or such.
Why do you want to join Echoes’ police faction?:
Why I'd like to join Echoes Police faction is that I want to become more involved within the community. As you guys described joining diffident factions can give you different perspectives within roleplay and so that's why I am applying. To get more involved with the community by seeing a new perspective within being in the Sheriffs Department, then an ordinary eyes of a citizen.
What would you do if you accidentally broke a law, and someone began to argue with you OOC?:
If someone began to argue with me for a law I accidentally broke and began to argue with me in OOC chat or within DMS, how I'd approach the situation is that I'd talk with the said person who accused me of breaking said law. I'd then ask the person to stop arguing with me so we could review the law I broke, and if I did in fact break it, I would ensure I wouldn't break it again. Although if this happened ICCLY, I would have them report to the station.
If someone was insulting you OOC for not following a common law (such as reading their rights) what would you do/say?:
Within this event or scenario it could me understood as a common mistake as we are all humans behind the screen and we forget things but what I'd do or say is that I would say is the following. "I am so sorry for forgetting my fault, but there is no reason to get upset OOCLY about this, as it could be just a simple mistake that can be corrected within the future."
What do you do if you arrest someone? Be short, but detailed:
When arresting, I would first apprehend the subject, arresting with handcuffs. Then I'd read there Miranda rights. When enroute to the station I would then enter the booking area to book them and to get them into our system. Then after I did that I would then take a photo and send it through the mug-shots channel and complete any other necessary requirements within the station. (paperwork, etc.)
If someone is behaving strangely, as if they were using illegal substances, what do you do?:
What I'd do is see if they were okay and check up on them. I would then test them on if they were fully conscious and aware, such as their name, age, or where they are. Then I'd do two more tests. One would be a straight line; if they wobbled, it would provide me with more evidence that they were drunk. I'd then use a breathalyzer to see if they were over (BAC) 0.10%. If they were over that, they could be charged with public intoxication. If they were underaged, they would be charged with underaged drinking. In any other case, such as drugs or any other substances they have taken, under Wyoming law, having or being in possession of substances like heroin or meth, or being under the influence in a manner that endangers you or anyone else, can be taken as a criminal offense.
If someone will not give you their identity and you don’t have probable cause, what do you do?:
If I did not have probable cause I would respect there right not to tell me, I'd then just Inquiry them on why they decided to not tell me, then I'd just ask for there first name or middle initial to try to get an ID but I wouldn't push them.
If someone refuses to identify themselves because of the 5th amendment, but you have probable cause, what do you do?:
If someone refuse to Identify themself because of the 5th amendment but I do have probable cause I would do is start to inquiry why they think they shouldn't Identify himself. Then I'd explain to them "Due to the circumstances of the presented situation, The 5th Amendment is revoked due to the circumstance."
Provide us with your character’s backstory. Please attempt to limit yourself to more-or-less 1,500 words (maximum 2,500):
Aaron was born as a young-greek baby, with a father who adorned him and a mother who loved him. Alongside a brother who could teach him the world and experiences to follow in his steps. As his brother holds him his young brown eyes that were crystal clear would adored anyone, even the most violent women could fall under his crystal spell deep inside his eyes.
---
When growing up Aaron and Everette were polar opposites. As they the Mother is the nurturer and the Father is the laborer or the worker. Everette the Nurturer was kind and soft awhile Aaron was the tough one, always getting harsher punishments from his father, as he wanted Aaron to not fail him and not making him do the same mistakes he did when he was young. When he grew up when his father heard a hint of failure he would be punished. Theses punishments would be quite cruel, but only him and his father knew theses punishments. They were borderline childhood abuse. He would be burned with cigars, and slapped, smacked and hurt and when he goes to his mother she always wants to know what happened. But would she wanna know?
---
As the years went by and he reached the end of his high school career he would be a Valedictorian top of his class, just as his brother was once before him. Even though they are polar opposite they both have the right mind to help save others, with either healing or Justice. Aaron at 19 years old would travel to New York to enroll in the John Jay College in New York to get a very well of education. He would major in Criminal Psychology and Minor in Criminal Justice, Criminology and Psychology. He would try endlessly hard to get good grades and such till he was 25 years old he would end his college career to later get a Doctrine in Criminal Justice.
He would
---
After graduating from John Jay he would then travel back to Wyoming to Visit his grandmother and eventually taking care of her before she would be on her death bed.
