Red Lantern is a Japanese hibachi restaurant, we specialize in selling all sort of Japanese food like hibachi chicken, steak or shrimp with different sides such as miso soup, a house salad, rice and fried rice. We will have two different types of dining where you can eat at the restaurant, or you can get it delivered!  All of us at Red Lantern want everyone in East Falls to see a new sort of restaurant and hope they can enjoy a new hope of familiarity!

Please state your reasons on why you want to start this business in EchoesRP:
The reason why I want to start this business in Echoes is because I have seen multiple restaurants open but not enough or enough for it to seem restaurants are truly there. I feel like Red Lantern could be that place where everyone is welcomed and not everyone is bored when going to one of the different places to eat as well as  there's other food aside from the vending machines, OOC wise I would say.




4. Please elaborate on the background of the business ICLY and how it formed (What’s the lore behind it) :


In RP, I believe my character Dahlia would want to start this business to show everyone her heritage and where she came from, she grew up in Japan until she was  eleven or twelve.

Her family and friends have recently moved to East Falls and I think she wants to give some sort of familiarity with food or their home as a whole, Dahlia is always very open about asking people what they think they would like to see or help with, she tries her best to accommodate  that to the best of her ability, I think this would help not only her family and friends but East Falls as a whole.
She also hasn’t been really seeing her true purpose; she loves helping other and showing where she can from in her cooking so I think this would be a great idea icly for her.

Give a brief overview of what a typical opening would look like:

The shutters and door opened of Red Lantern, a soft Japanese tune would be heard from inside,  inviting the customers in. As they walked in, they would be met with a hostess desk as they were asked if they would like to dine in or get a delivery. As they walked further, they would see multiple grills lining the walls on the right and a nice seating area with a bar on the left.

How prepared are you to handle disturbances icky and oocly related to your business?

ICLY: The way I would handle disturbances ICLY is to kindly ask them to leave, giving them three warnings before calling the cops. If there is no cops online, I will allow security to escort them out fully

OOCLY: The way I would handle disturbances OOCLY is asking them in character to please leave kindly, I will give them three warnings in Looc before calling a staff member! If there are no staff members online, I will say something in help in the Echoes main discord.


What will your business need?

We will need some Japanese food items, like miso soup, a hibachi plate different varieties and a to go bag!

I am not 100% sure on what we are open to having item wise so once I figure that out, I will tell the business lead.
