Please explain what your business is? (What does your business sell, provide, and/or offer?):
Anteiku offers a space beyond dining and gifts customers the quiet sanctuary for the mind, the memory and the soul. Stories within the past, present and future circulate through out the late night or morning openings. It's a place where whomever you are; entering the café would bring no issue. Otherwise, in terms of a menu we sell:
: ̗̀➛ Warm and cold brewed coffees that have been crafted with years of experience, and with the deepest of memories. Stories behind each cup of coffee are made by taking a sip, and memories linger as the taste settles within your tongue. Fresh batches are created on the go and shipped in the bulk orders from Japan; ensuring that the cultural taste of what Anteiku serves would be most accurate.
╰┈➤ [OOCLY; a renamable coffee cup/drink that can be given to players when they request for a certain type of coffee; thus allowing you to freely roleplay out the type of coffee you create them and doesn't require different models for different drinks. If this idea gets the base idea approved, I'll create a full fletched menu with coffees.]
: ̗̀➛ Dishes that can be served as a light snack along with the coffee; great for the midnight adventures and settling down somewhere quiet. Anteiku serves light dishes like their special coffee jelly recipe; formed from the many years Hajimoto had been inventing the dish in Japan. While still being open to serving more sweets that'd fit the dark academia café for the future.
╰┈➤ [OOCLY; Coffee jelly was a staple in many Japanese cafes back then when it was first introduced in 1914, but was a continued tradition for Anteiku as the owners past mother, Haruka Isao had loved the dish. Therefore, was continued to be practiced by Hajimoto, until the rise in popularity in 1960s. I'll be a lot more specific in terms of what light dishes are to be served when I figure out the possible food items, because I don't want to be unrealistic or cause trouble by making more models]
: ̗̀➛ Stories that could be told for generations to pass; never left behind within the shadows of Anteiku. You'll hear urban legends often spoken around the room, but never any proof of it ever existing. A dark academia themed café that settle with dim lights and sounds of drinks clinking for settling stories that last centuries.
╰┈➤ [OOCLY; The experience overall and story telling told by waiters or the owner would encourage players to interact with more, and make them feel more included in roleplay! considering this server has some spookies, I'd imagine there also would be a place where you would not always, but often hear a little bit about it. Neither would it always be entirely correct either.]

Please state your reasons for wanting to start this business on Echoes?: (OOCLY)
My vision for Anteiku is to create a small scaled lore driven coffee shop within East Falls and the overall server of Echoes; 1984. Anteiku is welcoming to all people of Eat Falls to share their story around the café. I've come to the conclusion that most of the server is about conflicts and large driven fights but this could be a safehaven for nobody to fight and both regular and criminals can enter the café. Otherwise, with the uniqueness of this cafés concept, I would just like to make roleplay more enticing and involving of new or older players.

Please elaborate on the background of the business ICLY and how it formed? (What’s the lore behind it?): (ICLY)
A cultural café that was created back in 1920 from Hajimoto's parents; both whom are currently diseased but lived a fulfilling life of creating Anteiku. Their life long project that they've crafted from the early days of 1920's was a special gift for Hajimoto when they left the world. It was a business that strived off the interaction and stories of the customers, listening to their problems and kept connections that lasted forever. The food was said to be great, but the stories and memories formed are greater. A pillar between customers and it's staff kept the business running within Japan, and Hajimoto had wanted to branch out further to spread his parents love of their café. Starting up the business within Japan was quite difficult because the Yakuza activity had been in the high uprise during the early 1900s. Although, as afraid as young Hajimoto would've been, he still strived to create his business and create a safehaven for those who wanted to escape their criminal past. It wasn't perfect for most individuals, but it was truly their everything for others. Thus, building off the many connections during hardship left the taste of temporary success. It eventually delved into deep debt as the owner had lost motivation to keep criminals safe, and cleanse them of their pasts. Although, after an interaction with a Korean teenager named "Rihito Kim,' Hajimoto would be reinspired to continue his parents legacy of their café, and his own sense of justice to save people from their drowning and messy pasts.
Hajimoto with his newfound inspiration had hired a caretaker to work as the replacement owner back in the Japanese branch. Afterwards, quickly taking his first step towards adventuring a new land of where he could settle his business, the land of the free. Hajimoto lands in the rough soil of Chicago and the average beggar would instead threaten you instead of begging. He'd imagine that it would get easier, considering that not every journey was always this rough, although that hadn't been the case for him. After some time setting up his location within Chicago, he'd only receive hateful and racist comments based off his ethnicity, and other than that it would've been riots. The violence was too high during the 1970s, where he'd attempt to start up his business for about a grueling decade. His spirits were a sliver away of being destroyed, as if his parents dream was being shattered. Their dream of starting a café within Japan that prioritizes customers and their story, to then branching for the rest of the world. It seemed as if he didn't live up to their expectations, and moved to where we settle today.. East Falls Wyoming in the 1980s.
Walking onto the soft gravel of East Falls he would foresee the older buildings that made him think of Japan, the place he once knew as home. Acknowledging this; Hajimoto felt the urge to give one last try and create his parents café for the people of this town. He'd immediately begin to start meeting the residents of the town, and often helped out with small and unusual tasks for an elderly man like garbage and mail disposal. His assets weren't very high since the incident in Chicago and the immediate flight to flee was quite expensive, but it'd been all worth it in Hajimoto's eyes if he knew the chance would arise that he could fulfill his parents dream.

Give a brief overview of what a typical opening would look like in your business?:
[SERVERWIDE] The small hanging bells of the wooden double doors ring as they open up for business; the smell of coffee brewing and drinks clattering can be heard from street to street. Anteiku now fully open for business and ready to take in customers; possibly learning more stories that continue to remain for the future.

How prepared are you to handle ICLY and/or OOCLY disturbances related to your business?:
: ̗̀➛ [ICLY] Hajimoto Isao: "Alright, that's enough fighting in the restaurant or else you'll all pay for my damages. Now, get outta here you brats before the police arrive, they aren't too far.. from here to the station it takes only a few minutes." as he gestures to open the door, and back away behind the desk before they were to harm either him or his customers.
: ̗̀➛ [OOCLY] : I'd make sure to record and take screenshots, and if they continue to roleplay horribly; I'd be sure to let customers and my staff know to ignore them until they are further dealt with. Otherwise, I'd continue roleplay and send all the proper proof and evidence to the staff later when they are available.
╰──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────╯
What will your business need? (Buildings? Items? Characters? Moderation?):
: ̗̀➛ [OOCLY]: List of food/drinks that can be added to the menu, characters are fine because I've spoke to my workers and the theme/uniform. While moderation isn't required, I don't mind if they were to swing around often just to ensure roleplay stays stable. Then lastly, I'd need a café with a dark academia color scheme and a retro/formal themed café. If you need reference photos then I'll be sure to link them to this application, but otherwise I'd like to thank you for taking the time to read my application.
