Experience Related Questions:
Why are you applying for the Event Team?:
I've been quite intrigued in Echoes Lore, and I've wanted to help support the event/storyline it continues to strive for. Creating interactive, live or offline events make a story all the more better. I've also enjoyed the countless reactions within my past of creating events, making the effort all the more worth it. I'd like to be able to lead my own project once I'm settled, and support other event members in creating ideal scenarios for the community to enjoy as a whole.
What creative skills would you be bringing to the Event Team?:
I'd bring a new mindset and a outgoing positivity towards our teams goals. When I create events, I'd also like to stick to whether or not if it is realistically possible. Although, at the same time keeping a sense of uniqueness and making it all the more worth it. I've also quite enjoyed events that are striven off player base choices and make it more of an interactive story.
Do you have any other prior experience on other Minecraft Servers?:
I've had prior experience helping set-up MANY minor roleplay events that included TTRP (Tell-Tale Roleplay), and SRP (School Role Play). When it comes towards leading a project, I could do fairly well but prefer a supporting role. Otherwise, I've been quite fond of creating such events, and feel at ease when doing so.
Outside of Minecraft I've also done quite a bit of FFXIV, and that itself gave me the setting to roleplay in. Thus, helping me immerse into characters that I've created with friends and storylines that we've developed during playthroughs. Lastly, I often play DND with my real life friends and had the blast experience of being able to be the dungeon master for 2-3 times recently, and one being a large campaign that'd lasted quite a while.
Scenario Questions:
You are hosting a large Event and a group of players becomes disruptive and is not following the rules. How do you handle the situation?:
In the most respectful way possible, I'd like to ask them to politely stop. Then I'd remind them how their actions could affect them, and the experience for those around them. If they continue and insist on creating problems, I'd request permission to temporarily remove them from the event until the realize the value behind them.
How would you encourage player participation in Events?:
I would create a trailer or an article which teases the upcoming event. I'd also personally give a shout-out and refer it to some references that may interest people who have a liking for such. Anyhow, I believe that the best way to encourage participation is showing yours as well. I would also include some message hints in-game to surprise people, and landmarks hinting towards the event. Another way could be prizes, but I wouldn't want to enforce the idea of always expecting something dazzling after an event. Although, I won't deny that the idea of a prize in general is a bad idea, and would integrate one dependent on the scenario.

Availability & Commitment Questions:
How much time can you dedicate per week to Event planning and hosting?:
Availability During School: 4:30PM EST+
Availability During Weekends: All Day
Do you have any commitments (i.e. school, work, etc.) that might affect your availability?:
During weekends, I could sometimes have one day out of the two where I go to work as a photographer, otherwise I am always free.

Please provide 2-3 Event ideas that you have and 1 Step-by-Step of an Event’s layout (Example below):
"The Echo Market"
1. The people of East Falls are told to stay within their houses, and only hear whispers and shifting in noise within the night starry sky.
2. Suddenly, the sounds of these whispers are halted and the moving had stopped. They receive an announcement that they may leave their houses.
3. The town is extremely quiet, and the doors behind peoples houses began to become unlocked.
4. The ringing began the echo festival, and lit up the lights of the streets. Thus, revealing the stands and mysterious masked figures. It is said that they could possible be the residents of the town from the past, or those who are simply passing by. Otherwise, they wished to celebrate with the town of Echoes. This encounter ends with fireworks that mark the end of the night market.
The Shifting Hunt
1. Citizens gather around the town central after being given a letter, and it'd been one that promised a great "fortune."
2. The sound of a train horn is being blown in the past distance, and the note reveals the first hint within the forest.
3. When it is found.. the winds begin blowing harsher and the train horn blows once again, indicating another hint within a maze.
4. When the final hint and they are given the option to burn the doll or keep it. Thus, resulting in whichever ending.
Context: The sound of the train horn symbolized the initial arrival of spirits to the town, and the left a hint of where to find them. Players are given the option to keep the suspicious doll or burn it when they find it in the forest. Afterwards, if they keep it, the second hint would be found in the maze where they find a house, given the option to break or keep it. Lastly, if they choose to keep everything, then they are given the final hint of a drawing of a person that lived in a house similar to the picture. The picture would be uploaded to the discord so people could actually view it, and it'll have the writing "Thank you, for saving me" written on the picture. Players who burn the items early are rewarded with a plastic mask of a sad doll face, while those who manage to make it to the end get a smiling one. The hint behind this event wasn't being an actual fortune, but learning the fortune and value of living from another spirit. Thus, helping her find the way to the spirit train and making her move onto wherever. Votes on burn or keep would be done quickly on polls set up in discord. (There could be edits & more!)
Thank you for taking the time and consideration for reading my application, I really look forward to your responses and feedback!
Truthfully, it was quite difficult thinking of great ideas when other event applications had done such a well job, but I hope these manage to make an impression and I look forward to learning even more about how I could contribute to Echoes! :3
