Motivation behind applying:
My motivation behind this application are all relatively straightforward, but can be limited to 2 different categories. One being a love for writing and genuine desire to help the world building process from the inward out.
I have been role playing for a big majority of my childhood and it's the passion of my writing. Originally I was a one-liner, but I started to branch out into the more detailed sections and I love every bit of it. I have always loved English as a whole even if I may have typos and translate things wrong. It’s a way to communicate with others or to tell a story.
I've always made little google docs of different stories I have made in my childhood for school projects or essays as a whole and I always love to go above and beyond for all of them no matter what the topic was about. It was a lovely feeling to have my ideas played out in ink paper or just digitally.
Now onto the other Topic. As a whole, I love the news. In any type of way, fictional roleplay is a vital aspect of any type of world's realism. Any sort of news type of thing serves as a basis to get in character information icly. It helps characters form opinions on what's happening in the world currently. Rather be good or bad as a whole.

Backstory (150 words minimum):
Eileithyia was born into the traditional Goto clan, where discipline and perfection defined her upbringing. From a young age, she was groomed for a path dictated by her family’s strict expectations. Her childhood revolved around mastering the traditional arts, learning tea-making, cooking, and other domestic skills, all designed to mold her into the ideal geisha and housewife. At 15, her family chose her to follow the path of a geisha, forcing her into a life of rigid structure and public admiration. Though praised for her mesmerizing performances, she felt trapped and yearned for freedom.
A devastating heartbreak further shaped her resolve, leading her to leave her family and their suffocating traditions behind. In Yokohama, she discovered figure skating, a passion that allowed her to express herself freely. She quickly rose in the sport, capturing attention and competing locally. However, a severe injury ended her skating dreams, leaving her heartbroken once more. Seeking a fresh start, Eileithyia decided to move to America, determined to build a life on her own terms.
Write a short example of what you can do; an article of 100 words minimum, 500 maximum :
A massive fire erupted at the forest early Tuesday morning, sending plumes of thick, black smoke into the air and forcing evacuations across a wide area. The fire, which broke out around 8:15 AM, threatened nearby businesses and neighborhoods, triggering an all-hands emergency response.
Flames engulfed a storage area containing flammable chemicals, creating intense heat and periodic explosions. Fire crews from across the town rushed to the scene, using specialized foam to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading.
Firefighters battled the blaze for over six hours before it was brought under control. Fortunately, no fatalities were reported, but six people were hospitalized for burns and smoke inhalation, with two in critical condition.
“It was one of the most dangerous situations we’ve faced in years, the chemicals involved meant we had to fight the fire strategically to avoid a catastrophic chain reaction.”
"We were up against a monster,” - "Chemical fires are unpredictable. You don’t just fight flames.. you fight explosions, toxic fumes, and the unknown. My team did everything they could to contain it, but it’s not something you can prepare for entirely."
“At first, I thought it was a drill. Then I smelled it! burning plastic, chemicals. That’s when I knew this was real. People were yelling, 'Get out! Get out!' The heat was unbearable. It was like stepping into an oven.” - "I don’t even remember how I made it out. It’s all a blur."
Early reports suggest the blaze may have been caused by someone who may have thought it was the best idea to start a fire, an arsonist maybe. In addition to the immediate danger, there are concerns about the environmental impact of the fire, mostly concerning the air quality in the area that remains under scrutiny.
Cleanup efforts are already underway, with firefighters and hazardous materials teams and Sheriffs working to secure the site. Displaced residents have been provided temporary shelter, and a hotline has been set up for those needing assistance. As the city begins to recover, questions remain about how this tragedy could have been prevented and what steps will be taken to ensure it doesn’t happen again. Public hearings are expected to address community concerns in the coming weeks.

OOC:
How much do you know about first-aid and general medicine?:
I have been in the emergency type of departments in different roleplay servers. I know how it usually works in the inside along with the codes along with radio codes. I know a lot about first aid due to Irl situations I, myself have been in.
In medicine, I know the facts and different medications to offer to people. I know the dosages and what they should have like weaker to stronger medicines depending on the patient and such.
EX:
Paracetamol
It’s used for temporary relief of pain, such as for cuts, abrasions, concussions, and so on. [Usually no prescription is required]
Aspirin
It’s functional as a moderate tier of medication. If a patient undergoes a serious injury, such as a broken or dislocated limb, or paracetamol is not enough to reduce their pain, an aspirin prescription should be written for them with dosage instructions. Aspirin’s additional qualities of efficiency against fever and swelling make it most effective in treating physical injury, but it can also be used in preventing heart attack, stroke, and treating arthritis.
Side effects: Aspirin may have temporary symptoms, such as vomiting, heartburn, stomach pain, and/or nausea. These are common and do not require repeat visits unless they persist after use has stopped. However, if the patient experiences hives, rash, internal bleeding, difficulty breathing, or other severe symptoms, provide medical aid immediately.
Tramadol
A synthetic opioid medication, usually used for the short-term treatment of moderate to severe pain. It is the first step after Aspirin and before Hydrocodone, most commonly prescribed when Aspirin does not seem to be making an effect.
Side effects: Common side effects of Tramadol include sleepiness, constipation, sweating, fatigue, headache, dry mouth, and vomiting.
Hydrocodone
The highest tier of pain medication, hydrocodone is a highly addictive opioid. It has a similar potency to morphine and is one of the most commonly misused drugs. Hydrocodone is prescribed in circumstances when prescription aspirin has proved to be persistently inefficient.
Side effects: Hydrocodone is a depressant, and continued usage heavily strains the respiratory system. In combination with alcohol, it may lead to respiratory arrest. Adverse symptoms include bladder pain, distressed breathing, unusual fatigue, and tingling of the hands and feet.
Give us 3 examples of injuries, and their resolution:
This situation will be a patient coming in while knocked out.
She proceeded to bring them to the ER. Hook them up to a iv drip with fluids and a heart monitor she'll examined their body for any injuries, including checking any types of people die later in marks on the body, mostly around the head as a whole and prepare for any type of police report to give, depending on how severe the injuries may be. So the patient will be in police custody and be safe from whoever caused the pain. If there was no injuries I'd wait for them to wake up and after doing so I'll take the iv out and remove the heart monitor and let them be on their way.
This incident will be on a patient being brought in for a minor cut.
If the patient is brought in With minor cuts, I'll bring them to an ER room. Examine the wound, wipe the area around with alcohol wipes. After doing so, I'd place a gas pad over the wound to take the blood and sucking up, then remove the gauze. Take the bandage or band-aid depending on the size of the cut and place over the wound with antibiotics securely.
This is the following as the patient came in with a stab wound. (Non-Fatal to organs)
I would hook up the patient to a I.V drip Heart monitor and blood bag filled with O- blood. Afterwards I would place the patient under anesthesia and apply gauze to the wound to clean up the area. I would put morphine into I.V drip and disinfect the wound with fluids then stitch (X pattern). After the wound is closed with stitches, I’d apply anti-scar and scream antibiotic ointments and bandage the stitches afterwards, I will take them to the recovery room. In general and prepare to report this to police for their own safety.
Why do you want to join the hospital faction on Echoes? Answer this OOC:
To be honest, I just miss treating people in general. I love it! It's a great way to have character development and character interactions that have different relationships. It doesn't have to be friends, co-workers it can be just simple rivalry and other such matters. I feel like. It also bring people together in general because I feel like it's a great way to have people just come over for a check up or other matters.
I have been in the clinical type of faction before Ridgeton(idk how to spell it) got the rebrand, when the rebrand happened, I left due to the fact that I had personal issues coming up and I was moving to a different state so it was more of a priority. And I didn't want to have the position if it was to transfer while I was busy. Because I felt like that would be unfair and there would be better candidates at the time.
How would you deal with someone that was FailRPing inside of the hospital?:
It depends on the type of severity, if it was fail rping and the patiently brought in by said metagamer. I would report it out of character to staff and tell them since it was metagaming. It should be avoided and the patient should find their way back here.
To be honest, it really depends on the severity, because if it's small things like they're doing an inaccurate type of representation of injuries as in their walking on a broken foot. I"ll just remind them carefully to not walk on broken foot, etc. If it’s more major, I’d 100% report it.
Provide us with 2 some-what detailed actions of your character helping an injured person. You can choose the injury or illness.
SUTURES
She'd take out a pair of gloves and place them onto her hand using a disinfectant wipe to clean the area of skin above their vein before pushing the IV through. They then connect them to a blood bag of their blood type (or -O, depends on severity/lack of time). She then injected Morphine into the Central line of the I.V, Before starting depending on the pain level She began stitching in an x pattern over the wound when finished. She tie assertions and coat the stitches is an antibiotic ointment in anti scarring cream. She'd place a medical bandage on the stitches and take them to the recovery room.
CONCUSSION
She’d lay them down and check for pupil dilation, and if they are awake or slightly mumbling try to communicate... Following this, directly after that, She’d turn their head to the side to reduce their chances of choking on their spit, vomit or any foaming substances doing this will help their airway. Afterwards, she’d take them to an MRI and apply any ice to said bruising if any is found. After an hour of recovery, she’d run a small follow-the-finger test. This test is simple: run the index finger on one or both hands in front of the patient's eyes, side by side, rear, or in front. If they cannot meet any expectations they must stay in recovery.
Provide us with your character’s backstory. Please attempt to limit yourself to more-or-less 1,500 words (maximum 2,500):
Her family was part of a long line of herbalists, skilled in Chinese medicine. From an early age, Meilin was immersed, learning about the medicinal properties of plants and the importance of understanding the body. Her parents, Zhang Wei and Lin Xia, were loving but strict. They instilled in her the values of hard work, resilience, and compassion for others. Meilin’s mother often told her, "A healer’s hands are not their own, they belong to the people who need them." These words became a guiding principle in her life.
When Meilin was 12, her village was struck by a devastating flood. The natural disaster left many injured, homeless, and in desperate need of medical attention. Her parents worked tirelessly to help those affected, but the sheer number of injured overwhelmed them. Meilin, despite her young age, stepped up to assist as much as she could. One night, while treating a patient, her father fell ill. The floodwaters had carried a deadly infection, and despite their best efforts, they could not save him. The loss devastated Meilin, she didn’t know lives were so.. Fragile yet fought till the end, yet she wanted to protect such lives. Meilin received a scholarship to attend a medical school in Guangzhou. This was her first time leaving her village, and she struggled with culture shock, loneliness, and the competitive nature of her peers. Despite the challenges, Meilin excelled in her studies.
During her clinical rotations, Meilin discovered a passion for emergency medicine. She was drawn to the high-pressure environment of the emergency room, where quick thinking and decisive action could mean the difference between life and death. After graduating, Meilin completed her residency at one of Guangzhou’s largest hospitals. She specialized in trauma surgery. The work was grueling, both physically and emotionally. Meilin often went days without sleep, working in makeshift hospitals with limited resources. She witnessed unimaginable suffering.. It made her realize that lives are worth it to save no matter what, even if it seems so small and trivial.
At 31, after years of living out of a suitcase and constantly being on the move, Meilin decided to move to East Falls and start a new..
