Shortly describe 5 laws or behaviors that officers in the U.S. have to follow:
Miranda Right - when a officer is making an arrest they are meant to read the individual being arrest they Miranda rights "You have the right to remain silent anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law you have the right to an attorney if you cannot afford an attorney, one will be provided for you do you understand the rights I have just read to you with these rights in mind, do you wish to speak to me"
Probable cause - An officer should always have probable cause when investigating a member of the public, for example if a member of the public is on a regual stroll a officer cannot out of the random as them for to identify themselves, but if they had probable cause they have the full right to get that information.
5th amendment - An officer should always understand whenever someone plea's the 5th, and shall always respect their choice.
1th Amendment - Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech.
2th Amendment A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
Why do you want to join Echoes’ police faction?: Because i was a previous volunteer and i would love to fully join and have a actual spot in PD, it was very fun when i played as a officer i have many roleplay options and i would love to continue them, i also enjoy doing Police Roleplay on other servers and i would love to do more on here.
What would you do if you accidentally broke a law, and someone began to argue with you OOC?: firstly apologize for my mistake afterwards If i was to accidentally break a law i would most likely void the situation but in the scenario of the player not wanting to let me void and would argue against it i will roleplay it out, and if they player wanted to take me to court i would accept it and argue against as it could bring roleplay opportunities
If someone was insulting you OOC for not following a common law (such as reading their rights) what would you do/say?: If they were to be insulting I would give them a warning for OOC Toxicity, afterwards I would read their rights so they don't complain.
What do you do if you arrest someone? Be short, but detailed: When arresting someone i would first cuff them read they mirador rights, search them remove any thing illegal or anything that can be used as a weapon, after i would take the individual into a cell read they charges tell them the amount the bail is and how long until they can get bailed out after ask what they plea, make a arrest log take a mugshot tell the player to change skin and name and release them.
If someone is behaving strangely, as if they were using illegal substances, what do you do?: Firstly i would approach them asking them simple questions like "Where are you off to today sir?" Or "You seem a bit odd is everything fine?" and if I've 100% confirmed they are on a certain substance i would cuff them take them to the hospital make sure they get a blood test, including if they had the drug still on them i would take it a place it into a plastic baggie for evidence, and after i get the evidence he was on the substance by getting the blood result i will charge them the right sentence for whatever substance the individual was.
If someone will not give you their identity and you don’t have probable cause, what do you do?: If i wasn't to have probable cause then i would leave the situation so it doesn't continue causing problems.
If someone refuses to identify themselves because of the 5th amendment, but you have probable cause, what do you do?: I would explain to the individual that i have probable cause and have the right to ask for them to identify themselves if they don't it would have to cause me to detain them for question but if they were not to still give me a answer i would arrest them for obstruction of justice.

Please attempt to limit yourself to more-or-less 1,500 words (maximum 2,500): Logan Clark was born in April 12th 1955 in New York, he would be born into a family of 3 His mother his father and his Older Brother, his brother sadly passed away at the age of 17 when logan was 15, his brother was sadly murdered by a biker gang, and that was the biggest motivation logan got to become a Officer, and he would go onto getting a diploma in criminology and then go into the police academy of east fall's and now is waiting on a response.

Why do you want to be an officer for our community?: "the reason behind why i want to be an officer is because, i want to serve and protect my community, from criminals," "another reason was because of the tragic death of my dear brother" "but let's not get into that shall we but another reason is my father was a Officer in new york he worked for the NYC, but he's now retired."
Have you had any previous training or teaching in our academy? Yes i was in the academy for over 6 months and waiting on my results.
What responsibilities do you hold as a police officer? A huge and main responsibility would be to serve and protect the community also to arrest those who break the law, and to always protect the community from harm's way.
Do you plan on advancing our staff hierarchy? Maybe having a sub division for detectives.
